It is not too often that you can walk into any given restaurant, order a meal, and get full. You usually have to order a side salad and some sort of appetizer to go with it.
Now, not too many people make a big deal about this but it’s actually a sales technique that restaurant chains use to basically make you order more food at individual prices which, are usually a bit higher than say a meal with two sides. I know that I’m a pretty big eater and every time I go out to eat I end up order both an appetizer and a side salad. Not to mention an extra side of potatoes because just about every restaurant I’ve been to only serves a small portion of potatoes.
There are exceptions to this when it comes to restaurant chains like Applebees. You can actually visit any of their locations and order a lunch or dinner meal and get full off of what comes with it. Yes I said it, get full from what comes with your meal. No need to order extra sides or appetizers. That is unless someone else your with wants an appetizer.
Applebees serves some of the most hardy meals in the industry also, when you order a dinner meal they often times give you some free Applebees coupons to use next time you come in or to give to your loved ones.
That is why they get so many repeat customers, and this is truly a smart approach to not only gaining new customers every day, but to ensure consumer loyalty in that people will not venture out somewhere else to eat when they are positive they will get the fullness and flavor they want along with an Applebees coupon.
It’s just good business if you ask me. So the next time you want to get full for a great price, I suggest you visit an Applebees location near you.
- Applebees Loyalty Program

Your guest loyalty program is a disaster!! As a steady customer I had amassed over 200 points with no rewards. Today, the point value
on my card dropped to 20 points. Attempting to find the cause, I went to the website and was told my e-mail address was no longer on file. You had better straighten your program out or risk losing more customers…you lost 3 customers today, that I am aware of ,due to problems with the rewards program…………..H. K. Agar
